Mrs. Priscilla Allen, 101 years old, dies.
Following an illness of 3 months, Mrs. Priscilla Allen, 101 years of age,
died yesterday mornign at the home of her son, Will Allen, near
Barnardsville. Funeral sevices will be held at the RockView Baptist
Church, near Barnardsville. The Rev. W. L. Edwards and the Rev. George
Hensley officiated. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers included : James Young, Ray Anders, Edd Boone, Louis
Young, Emmit Wright and Natt Banks, grandsons of Mrs. Allen.
