He removed to Boston about 1641, where he was admitted and granted a
house lot on 27 Sept 1641. On 28 April 1645, David was granted liberty
of wharfing near the Milne Creek in Boston, and he was appointed
constable on 13 March 1646/7.

On the 9th of April in 1653 Sarah sold for L15, a house to
John Hull, a goldsmith of Boston. Sarah Phippin, widow, for
L40, sold on 3 Dec. 1653 to Robert Saunderson of Boston,
goldsmith," and George Vicors and Rebeckah his wife, who have an
interest, together with our mother Sarah Phippin, consented to the sale".
On 11 July 1654, Sarah fippeny of Boston, widow, for L52,
sold to Theodor Atkinson of Boston, a dwelling house and half an acre;
witnesses, "gamalier phipeny", James Hill.

Joseph Phippen al's Fitzpen of "ffamoth in Casco Bay," carpenter, "in the
behalfe of himselfe and the rest of his Brothers and Sisters joint
Executors to the Estate of theire late deceased mother Mrs. Sarah Hull
wife of Mr George Hull late of ffairefeild in connecticot," for
L02, sold a house in Boston to Benjaman Phippen al's ffitzpen of
Boston, blockmaker, 3 June 1663; recorded 5 Nov. 1677.

George. He named his son-in-law Thomas Yeo, son George Vickary, son
Joseph Phippen, to be executor with testator's wife. He also mentioned
land in Hingham.

William Gibson of Boston, cordwainer, and Joseph Bridgham of Boston,
tanner, administrators appointed by the court in Boston to make sale of
the estate of the late Gamaliel Phippen deceased to pay debts, sold a
shop with a warf to John Orris of Boston, blacksmith; the heirs consented
to the sale and signed as Elizabeth Spencer, Ann Phippen, Mehittable
Phippen, "Job Prince Husband to Rebecka Phippen formerly Soe called," and
by Joseph Phippen "husband to Elizabeth one of the Daughters of Gamaliel
Phippen'. The acknowledgements were taken * May 1685 of "The Severall
daughteres of Gamaliel Phippeny, viz. Elizabeth Rebeckah Ann and
Mehittable together with Job Prince husband to sd Rebecca, and Joseph
Phippen husband to Eliza."

Gamaliel, a warehouse which Gamaliel Phipany late of Boston, dec'd, sold
to Haughton 13 March 1670.The Boston tax list of 1676
includes Widdow Phippenny. On 3 April 1676, Robert Haughton, mariner,
and Sarah Phippeny, widow of Gamaliel, both of Boston, mortaged to Simon
Lynde of Boston, merchant.On 11 March 1680/1, Sarah Phippen
of Boston, widow: Sarah Haughton of Milford, Conn., widow; William Gibson
of Boston, cordwainer, and Wife Hannah; Elizabeth Phippen, Ann Phippen,
and Mehetable Phippen, of Boston, spinsters, conveyed to Job Prince of
Boston, mariner, house and land, bounded by the house in occupation of
the said Sarah Phippen and by the house and land of Eloner Phippen.

On November 22, 1684, Benjamin Smith of Milford, Conn., tailor, and Sarah
his wife, William Gibson of Boston, cordwainer, and Hannah his wife,
Elisabeth Spencer of Boston, widow, and Ann Phippen and Mehetable Phippen
of Boston, spinsters, refer to the deed of 11 March 1680/1 in which Sarah
Phippen late of Boston, widow, deceased, Sarah Haughton (now wife of said
Benjamin Smith), and others sold to Job Prince.
