John W. Coates never returned from the War Between the States.
In 1874, she married Isaac West. In the special census of veterans in
1890, the name "Sol" was mentioned, so his name might have been,
or included "Sol"
On 16 May 1920, she died in Arjay, Bell Co. KY.
The death certificate states that she was buried at
Neal cemetery, but it is more likely that she was buried
at Straight Creek Cemetery, near Pineville, KY.
